Climate Change

Facts About Climate Change

Where does CO2 come from.

Well CO2 comes from:

  • volcanoes
  • the sea
  • dead animals
  • and humans

Now we know where CO2 comes from we can  have a look at how it effects us.There are many ways CO2 effects us:

  • it melts the ice caps
  • makes the sea levels rise
  • all land is slowly getting swallowed
  • strange weather phenomenon
  • animal extinctions

The carbon cycle is the biogeochemical cycle by which carbon is exchanged among the biosphere, pedosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere of the Earth. Carbon is the main component of biological compounds as well as a major component of many minerals such as limestone.

Deforestation refers to the cutting, clearing, and removal of rainforest or related ecosystems into less bio-diverse ecosystems such as pasture, cropland, or plantations (Kricher, 1997)
